Wiring Diagram Of A Single Phase Dol Starter Motor

A single-phase DOL starter motor is a type of electric motor that uses a direct on-line starter to start the motor. The run button is used to keep the motor running after it has been started. When the run button is pressed, the NO terminal of the run button is connected to the common terminal. This closes the circuit and allows current to flow from the power supply to the motor. The motor continues to turn.

When the run button is released, the NO terminal of the run button is disconnected from the common terminal. This opens the circuit and stops the current from flowing to the motor. The motor stops turning.
